Kaybree, an anti-social reject, begins to open up to the world and the happiness within it after many years after a traumatic experience with her abuse ex-boyfriend.
Starting a new life, she moves away from her family and finds herself happy in a damp run-down apartment when she meets Kyle Dawson, her next door neighbor, and his young daughter Trixy. Gradually as Kaybree opens up to Kyle she finds him becoming more irresistible, and caring - something she's never had before.
