Desolate

Desolation. The simplest term to describe this devastation; it wasn't always like this though. There was laughter, happiness, and the utter feeling of bliss. Not anymore. Turmoil, desolation, chaos, and danger. It started with the nuclear plant, that lead to the explosion; it was tremendous, with dead bodies and destruction eminent. No one thought that the radiation would catch up that fast; nor did the dead bodies that littered the site. When they say the dead will rise, they weren't kidding; the radiation was different then they thought, and it was much worse than they can imagine. Life as we knew it changed, and there was only one thing that we could do; survive, or die trying.
