Cadence has just been kicked out of his house. He refuses to move in with his grandmother like his parents are making him do. So what does Cadence do? He decides to live by the lake near the cabin that's been abandoned for years. His parents don't know where he is.

Gavin is moving and he doesn't want to. He's an extremely shy boy he didn't have many friends to begin with. Starting over to make new ones wasn't on his agenda.
