Rory is an 18-year-old college freshman. After living a sheltered life, he's finally getting to experience the world on his own. He only has one friend, his cousin Jonathon, and he never got to have any fun as a child. His parents babied him, and he's been home-schooled all his life. Hopefully, he'll fit in at Dakrem University. He's tired of his deafness getting in the way.
