Riley Chandler Johnson is just a normal high school student with a bit of an attitude...until she nearly gets kidnapped. She got frustrated with her friend Jason on their way home from school and jumped out of his brother's car in the middle of town. She then got picked up into an SUV that heads down an alley. Luckily she got saved, but nothing is the same after that. Her friends from school just suddenly disappear, and the same day that happens, her family is killed, and she nearly is too, until she is saved by a rather odd creature she never believed existed...a vampire.
