I know they say running away from your problems never solves anything, but it’s worked for me as far as I can remember.

I sigh quietly to myself at the subtle tension in the silence, and I realize I’m stupid for assuming William hadn’t told Sisky the situation. Judging by the growing awkwardness between us in his car, he obviously knows. Meaning it’s quite likely all my Chicago friends know why I ‘m back.
