Kassidy Falls is your average girl; Jared Staal is the last of the Staal brothers waiting for his break into the NHL. When he enrolls in Lockerby High School the two meet, and while Kassidy is at first tentative they become fast friends.
Kassidy doesn't know it, but Jared soon finds himself falling for the quiet, shy girl who he finds excuses to spend time with.
