Sydney and Danny went through a lot to get in each others' arms, but when she finds out she's pregnant, she flees to America; more or less to keep from being a burden to McFly.
Danny was heart-broken seeing that she left, but after Sydney tells him she'll be back, he's not as upset.
Over three years, Danny flies over to America to visit Sydney and their baby, born on Valentine's Day. Then, when Danny is back in England, and Sydney in America, Danny receives a surprise Valentine's Day gift that brings a family together. :)
