Always There

On the night of Billie Joe's 20th birthday, he met Temperance Maria Cevallos; a college girl from San Diego going to Cal Berkeley. Over the course of one year of dating, the two fell deeply in love, but she was withholding news from him; that she would be going away to Ecuador to study abroad. When she left in January of 1993, she took with her another secret that he wouldn't learn for twelve and a half years.

Both having gone their separate ways with marriage and having children, Billie Joe can't ever forget Maria, and upon a solo vacation to Manhattan to clear through his thoughts, he runs into Maria after all this time, and reconnects.

It's then that he learns the big secret she'd been keeping all these years. Devastated by the initial shock of learning this secret, he angrily turns Maria away, but he's soon forced to face the music...as he and Maria are brought together once again.

And this reunion will definitely not go quietly into the night...
