Once a Hero

Tradition: The handing down of beliefs, opinions, customs, stories, etc from parents to children. They've been around for centuries and there's at least one in every family's household. Some are made just for the fun of it but others are passed down through the generations expecting to be carried out. For Blayke Carrington, the decision to carry out her family's honored tradition of enlisting into the military started at a very young age. Her parents proudly served and taught their only child just how sacred the tradition is. Blayke's father, Nick Carrington, served in the United States Navy while her mother, Faye Brevard, served as a nurse in the Army. The Carrington and Brevard families both believed in the sanctity of military traditions so it was no contest on what they would teach their child. Nick and Faye were the happiest in their lives when Blayke was delivered into this world but now someone else is wanting that very same happiness. Will this affect any once life or will it just affect one?
