Falling Out of Line
I'm probably the only person ever who's pretended to be gay in order to fit in.
Okay, let me explain - I'm the adopted son of two gay parents. They are the best thing an orphan could ever ask for. Only problem is, I feel like I don't fit in with them. They look so happy together, and I know they accept me no matter what, but I just don't think I belong in their family.
I've always been an outcast. Foster families didn't really want me, my peers at school never acknowledged me, and of course my real parents must not have loved me either.
Now my dads are sending me to a private school just to spoil me. Well, it's a new school and a new start. I don't have to be the invisible boy that nobody wants, the boy with no friends and no girlfriend and no family. Now I can be whatever I want. I can be accepted and loved and popular. And from my experience, the only way I can do that...
...is by pretending to be gay.
This ought to be an interesting school year.
