As far as life went, Valentine Jackson thought she had it pretty good. She got along with her parents, she was happy, and she was about to start her first semester of college along side her best friend. She had never thought about life not following just that perfect course. She and Sage would graduate, be each others maids of honor, be neighbors for life. She never could have imagined anything could stop that dream.

Garrett Nickelsen was living his dream. His band was taking off, and he finally had some downtime now that touring was over for the summer. His dream was untouchable, and he was on cloud nine. His life seemed extraordinary. He never could have imagined that something could send him backpedaling and alter his life so drastically.
