Castiel, an angel of the lord has always lived without emotions. He was raised as a warrior for the lord but after spending more and more time with Dean Winchester, the man he was supposed to be convincing to bow down and become a vessel for Michael, Castiel finds himself rebelling against the word of his father, of God.
He finds himself discovering human emotions, despite the feelings he’s learnt from observing Dean and his brother Sam, the simplest of all human emotion: hate, Castiel finds himself learning more and more, falling deeper and deeper into the confusing world of a human.
