She's Dancing Alone

A lot had happened since the release of All Time Low's first album. Things started out well before taking a turn for the worst.

"Please tell me this is some sick joke. Please, tell me you're lying."
"I'm sorry."
"But you promised, you said you'd never leave me, you promised!"
"I think this will be better for both of us. I don't want to do anything that could make you upset."
"This doesn't have to happen though. You could have all the girls, take them all, I don't care-"
"No. I could never let myself hurt you."
"Do you think this doesn't hurt? I've never felt pain like this."

Promises were broken. People got hurt. Friendships were damaged.

"You knew?"
"Please, don't get mad."
"Don't get mad? How could you do that to me? I had more right than anyone to know this was going on but you knew and you hid this from me?"
"I can explain."
"They can all explain! Everyone can explain! I don't want to hear it!"
"Please-"
"No. I can't trust you."

But everyone kept contact. As one girl found it harder and harder to get along there was only one person she could turn to and he wasn't there.

"I want to go home."
"Then go."
"It isn't that easy."
"Yes it is. Nothing's holding you back. I'll come and see you."
"You mean that?"
"If you want me to."
"Only if it isn't a problem."
"Not at all."
"Jack?"
"Yes?"
"I love you."

I'm gonna break your little heart
Watch you take the fall
Laughing all the way to the hospital
'Cause there's nothing surgery can do
When I break your little heart in two
