Hallie was a just your average girl. She loved hanging out with her friends and watching MTV. She listened to Top 40 pop music and had a pretty good life. That was until she discovered Green Day.

Sure, her first album was American Idiot, but that didn’t make her any less of a fan. By 15, she had all of Green Day’s albums. Her room was filled with their posters and she always had her iPod on.

Although, she seemed okay on the outside, on the inside she was all torn up. Hallie’s parents fought constantly, about money, about the kids, about anything and everything. She was sick of it. She didn’t want to leave her two younger brothers, Joey and Matthew behind, but she couldn’t take it anymore. She had to leave.

Eventually, she meets up with Green Day and her life takes an exciting turn. But is this change for better or worse?
