Joanalie (Jone' uh LEE) Rivers is not quite ordinary. She's rather prudent, although very smart, and likes to plan everything ahead of time. She's never really fallen for a guy before. (No, she's not lesbian) but none of them have ever held much appeal for her, aside from their looks - but she's above relationships based on looks.
Joan also doesn't believe anything out of the ordinary . . . like vampires. So when teenage girls start disappearing around town, and rumors spread that the culprit hides in the same old abandoned warehouse every night, she decides it's her time to shine.
But what will happen when Joanalie discovers the secret of this creature that defies everything she ever believed in, and he won't let her go back home. First, she doesn't really want to, and second, she knows she should go home.
She's never been subject to this kind of seduction before, and has no idea how to handle it.
