Breanne O'Connor always knew her father was an alcoholic But she never thought it would get to the point of beating her and her 6 year old sister, ever since their Mom had died from a car crash. Their father claims it was their fault. Breanne believes it.
One day, Breanne decides to break free and let loose when she meets John O'Callaghan, a new boy at her school. Breanne tries to make friends with John, and the first day that is accomplished. John shows Breanne a good time, but when she gets home, she finds her sister has been beaten unconscious, and her father is no where to be seen.
