I Didn't Know I Could Break Your Heart
Gather around and I'll tell you a story, the kind of story you would probably rather not hear. But as with any other story that is terrible and sad, there is a point to its madness that seems to make it all worth while. Now, this story, as with all other great stories, starts on the night of a storm. But this was not the kind of storm you are thinking of, no, it was the kind of storm that turned the world on its head.

"Marrietta, Marrietta! Would you please let me explain?" Tyler begged her, his light blue eyes glistening with tears. He was down on his knees in the middle of the football field. The entire school was staring at the two of them, wondering what on earth was happening. "Mary, you know that I wouldn't do this to you. Please, just give me a chance to say my part."
"How?" She asked, her voice cracked from the tears that she was holding back. Her big brown eyes looked down at him. They were so full of hurt and betrayal that he could barely stand to look at them. Her voice rose as she went on, "How can I let you explain? How could there possibly be another reason for this than what I see, right now?"
Tyler blinked. There was no response to that as far as he could tell. He held out a hand to her, asking her silently to pull him up, but all she did was stare. Marrietta shook her head in defeat and whispered, "I can't believe it's going to end this way, but I guess it is." She shrugged, "Bye, Tyler, have a nice life." She turned and left him on his knees, in the middle of the football field, with the entire school staring at him.
But it wasn't the end, it was only the beginning
