My Heart's Melodie

Joe Jonas and Melodie Thomason had been best friends for years. They went through that awkward stage together. They went through middle school together. They survived freshman and sophmore year together. Melodie had been there for Joe's first girlfriend, and she had been there when Joe was signed with his brothers to Disney after they had been dropped by Columbia Records.
Melodie had always been in love with him.
So why weren't they together? It could only be one thing: competition.
After Joe came back from his first head-lining tour with his brothers--the Look Me In The Eyes tour--Melodie was completely forgotten by her best friend. Joe was instant popularity, and he had the girl the whole school-guy population wanted. She was the head-cheerleader, she was pretty, she was tan, she was blonde.
Melodie was detirmined to get her best friend back, but wasn't so sure about making it as the "more than friends" status.
Will anything go right?
