Our lives were crazy, hectic, dangerous, and most of all scary. We lived off of drug money I, Alice, worked at the mall in Spencer. My twin sister worked at Hot Topic, we both pulled in a decent amount of money, not enough to put food on our table though. We knew our mother did Meth, we just tried not to believe it, she stopped going to work and soon she just got fired. She brought in a lot of money too, enough to classify Roxy and I spoiled rich kids at school.

But she choose Meth over her family.

Roxy and I didn't know our father, I personally hated him. Maybe if he would of stayed then my mother wouldn't have turned to Meth, then maybe she would still be our caring mother I remember.

I hated where I was. Drugs, drive-bys, and nothing but trouble. Everywhere I went I felt like someone was watching me. I was so paranoid.

I never hated our father, I just wished he would have stayed, made our life better than it was. I resented him for not being there.

Mom, she's a different problem. It's like she never even acknowledged our well being. I missed the mom that was there for us, the one that we could rely on. Now she just wants Meth. She's an addict, tweaker, whatever they call it, she was the meaning of it.

I'm Roxy Jay Sullivan, and I'm a depressed teenager that doesn't know the meaning of love.
