Gerard Way is an unpopular kid at Belleville High School. He spends his time drawing, smoking and hanging out with his only friends. Frank, Ray, Bob and his brother Mikey. He hates school and everyone in it. And the rest of the school? Well, they hate him too.

Elliott Haile moved from London to Belleville when she was 15, and has been part of a 'clique' known as The Plastics ever since. However, unknown to everyone around her, she hates being involved with the popular people who surround her. But the one advantage of her popularity that she does enjoy is that everybody loves her. Everyone apart from Gerard Way, that is.

So, typically, they are paired up in an Art project and are forced to work together, possibly for weeks. Will they discover that they are in fact different to how they both perceived each other to be? Or will they just continue to rip each other's throats out? Only time will tell, because after all they do say opposites attract. Right?
