Lyric was a average everyday girl..or she was until her mom married an abusive drunk and they moved into their new house on the shore. Then when she started school, she meet Cheryl, who turned out to be the best friend she desperately needed, Damian, another new kid at school who shows up shortly after her, and Ethan, a boy who seems to have taken a certain...interest in Lyric. Lyric quickly learns what it means to have friends who cares and the joys (and pains) of her junior year.
