Why Can't We Be Together

In today's society vampires are a new discovery. For centuries they were well hidden and wished to stay that way for many more centuries until one particular made a mistake. Do humans stay away from these creatures of the night? Or do they try getting along with them? Some agree to get alone but others loathe them and wish they never existed.

Frank Iero, a seventeen year old vampire, living in Belleville, New Jersey, hates what he is. No longer can he take the looks humans give him on the streets or how he is treated. All he wants is to be normal especially when it comes down to loving a human, Mikey. Will Mikey be afraid of him? Will he love Frank back?
