A Lifeless Dream

I stood there thinking every memory that had ever passed before my eyes, the place where I grew up and made my first steps as a baby, where I said my first words, the place where I learned for the first time what love means, my home. I was examining every single angle very carefully. I was afraid of the moment that I would leave it all behind, thinking how different and strange would everything seem when I come back. Just like facing a whole new world.

Deep inside though, I had made my decision. I wouldn’t come back. This place had hurt me way too much. Leaving it behind would mean that I don’t have to feel someone ripping my heart appart while I open the door to leave, neither my eyes will be filled with tears that I won’t be able to stop. I can’t stand weak in front of my own decisions, because noone forces me to leave, it’s my own decision and I told myself that I can do it. I conviced myself that it’s the right thing to do. A new start for my already destroyed life..!
