After moving to a new school, Ryan Ross is desperate. Desperate to fit in, and desperate to avoid bullies at all costs. Bullies are the reason he left his old school in the first place. He was nearly beat to death merely because he was different. It's not that he told anyone he was gay, they just guessed. they said it was his girlish features.
