A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
Okay, so I've found out that the one person I never thought would read this, is. So here's the truth: I no longer give a shit.

I'm going to tell the truth. Everything in this story is real. It's my account from eighth grade... at least, the interesting stuff. The only thing that is changed is the names.

Even the characters are carbon copies of people who are really in my life. For example, Rynaldi would be an exact copy of my friend, Emily. My message to her: I love you with no sincerity and hate you with a passion. You're my best friend and you've driven me to homicidal thoughts.

Sophia is exactly like my friend Lydia in every way. My message to her: I just might kill you. All jokes aside, I love these girls. They, along with many others, are the reason that Serendipity's Diary is possible. So I would like to tell them thank you.

Ryder is, of course, the side of myself that most people never see, the side of myself who's more honest, more real, more confident. If all goes well, people will see this side of me more often.

The one identity I'll never reveal? Ryan. But I have a message for him also: Get your head out of your ass. I like you, okay?
